LODGING

The Cambria Hotel, in downtown Dallas, is our official hotel. The Cambria is beautiful, newly opened property located less than a block away from the Smoked Dallas event site.

Q and A

Q: Are dogs/pets allowed at the festival?
A: No. Only service dogs will be allowed on property.

Q: What seating is available? Should I bring a blanket or lawn chair?
A: Limited seating. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets to spread out on the lawn.

Q: Are coolers permitted?
A: No. Coolers are not permitted on the festival grounds. No food storage containers of any kind may be brought in to the event site No food can be taken out of the venue. No to go containers will be allowed.

Q: What is your bag policy
A: We take security seriously. Please pack light. All bags will be thoroughly inspected. Backpacks are not allowed. Bags will be restricted to small purses, totes and drawstring bags only. Bag size may not exceed 14” x 11” x 5” (35cm x 28cm x 12cm)

Q: Can I smoke at the event?
A: No. The only smoking going on will be on the BBQ pits at the festival. Smoking will not be permitted on the festival grounds.

Q: What food will be free or included in the ticket price?
A: BBQ restaurants will serve samples from 1-5pm. Get there early for the best selection. First come first served, some of the most popular joints might be out before 5pm. While we want you to enjoy as many samples as you like, great BBQ should not be wasted so please only take what you think you can eat.

Q: Will there be additional food besides meat?
A: There will be sides and a dessert chef.

Q: Can I buy alcohol at the event?
A: Yes, there will be several cash bars on-site offering a variety of beverages (beer, liquor, wine, soft drinks, and bottled water) for purchase.

Q: Can I take food home from the event?
A: No. Food may not be taken out of the event site.

CASH & CREDIT CARDS

There are ATMs at several locations throughout the festival grounds. Some vendors accept credit cards,others will only accept cash.

ENTRY / RE-ENTRY

Tickets will be exchanged for wristbands upon entry. Wristbands must be worn while at the Festival and cannot be replaced. You must pass through security as you are entering. Show takes place rain or shine. No weather refunds.

PARKING

$5 parking in the parking garage at 2000 Elm St. Other parking will be available at downtown lots surrounding the event.

SECURITY / FIRST AID

We are making every effort to have a safe event. Security and medical personnel will be on site during the event.

Handheld Go-Pro cameras (no sticks, no headgear)
Blankets
Umbrellas (small hand-held style)
Baby Strollers
Personal cameras, including digital cameras, DSLR’s with stock lenses
Professional attachments not accompanied by a Photo pass in the park must have a paper photo band attached to it.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Weapons of any kind
Framed or large backpacks or bags
Alcohol (alcohol is sold at the Festival)
Glass containers/coolers/food storage containers
Food or beverages INCLUDING water bottles
Ice or ice packs
Skateboards, scooters or personal motorized vehicles
Bicycles inside Festival grounds
Carts of any kind
Large chains or spiked jewelry
Fireworks
Explosives
Large umbrellas
Chairs
Coolers
Tents
Pets (except service dogs)
Video equipment. No video recording will be allowed.
Professional cameras, including detachable zoom lenses, flashes, tripods, monopods and any other professional recording equipment.
Detachable zoom lenses, telephoto lenses and other professional lens not accompanied by a photo pass in the park must have a paper photo band attached to it.
Audio recording equipment
No illegal vending is permitted. No unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed.
Unauthorized solicitations, handbills, sampling, give-aways, etc
Metal aerosol containers, including sunscreen

Drones are not allowed.

LOST & FOUND

Return lost items or look for lost items at the Prekindle Box Office.

REFUND POLICY

We are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets. We do not issue refunds once ticket are purchased. The event will occur rain or shine. Pitmasters, chefs and bands are subject to change.
